It is a beach with turquoise shallow waters that crash into mesmerizing white sand creating a calm and therapeutic melody. It is formed between Tigani peninsula and Gramvousa peninsula and is located 17km northwest of Kissamos and 56km northwest Chania. The Balos Lagoon is well-known for its breathtaking landscape scenery, blue waters, natural and wild views that meet the visitors on their walk through the beach.

In Balos, there are facilities that provide visitors with food, water, umbrellas, and tan beds. You can also access the beach by boat from Kissamos or by car. Best time to go is from May to October.

Kelingking Beach- Nusa Penida, Bali (Indonesia)

Kelingking beach is mostly not crowded and perfect for a day of lone meditation and seclusion from the fast-paced world. This beach is, however, more for the adventure seekers as the path that leads to the beach is a 400m hike on rough, steep roads.

Kelingking Beach is located in the village of Bunga Mekar, on the Nusa Penida Island. It is often called Tyrannosaurus Rex of Bali due to its unique shape, making it popular among travelers. The waves of Kelingking’s beach crash against the cliff creating a magical scenery.

The city of San Sebastian is home to the people of Donostia which is the Basque name for the city.

As La Concha beach is located in Concha bay, the name “Concha” comes from its shell shape. It also has the best location for long walks along the shoreline. Best time to go is from June to September
