Featuring high profile CEOs, politicians and Bollywood stars, the guest list for the wedding of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s son was as star studded as the event itself.

Ambani scion Akash tied the knot with Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta, on Saturday in a luxurious ceremony. The wedding and accompanying festivities are rumored to have cost more than the estimated $100 million price tag of his sibling Isha Ambani Piramal’s wedding festivities.

Gracing the occasion were CEOs such as Google’s Sundar Pichai, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Samsung Vice Chairman Jay Y. Lee. The GCC too was well represented with Saudi Arabia’s oil minister Khalid Al Falih and Public Investment Fund Managing Director Yasir Othman Al-Rumayyan attending the wedding, local media reported.

Other corporate giants attending the Ambani wedding include Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey, Morgan Stanley’s top executive Michael Grimes and wife as well as Dow Chemical Chairman Andrew Liveris and his wife.

Pictures of former British prime minister Tony Blair and wife Cherie present at the wedding, dressed in Indian finery have been doing  the rounds on the social media. Former UN secretary Ban Ki Moon and his wife were also spotted with Ambanis in Mumbai.

Ambani, who Forbes estimates has a net worth of $50.5 billion, heads oil and gas giant Reliance Industries - one of India’s most valuable companies. He is also credited with introducing a 4G service in India in 2016 at an enviable amount, sparking a price war in the competitive telecoms market in the Asian country.

Following the grand scale of wedding festivities of daughter Isha, Ambanis have kept the details of their eldest son Akash’s nuptials under wraps with guests requested to not share any information, the media reported.

The newly weds will also have a reception in Mumbai on Monday, which will be preceded by a celebration night on Sunday, Indian press reports indicated.
