<p class="MsoNormal">A new order signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday has made it mandatory for the country’s public officials to declare their digital assets and cryptocurrency holdings from the next year onwards. Earlier this year, the Russian lawmakers had approved a bill that granted legal status to cryptocurrencies. However, the government has banned cryptocurrencies from being used as a mode of payment.</p>
