The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Central Bank of United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) have released on Sunday their final report on Project Aber, a common digital currency project using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). Aber showed that DLT can provide central banks with new ways of making both domestic and cross-border payment systems, said the report.
