KP established a shop in Bahrain called Gift Palace in 1986. He went on to diversify into several businesses, which he consolidated into the Western International Group . Today the group comprises of 14 brands across fashion and apparel, electronics, retail and e commerce verticals. Geepas, which sells electronics, kitchen appliances, lighting devices and personal care products, is among its flagship brands.  The Nesto supermarket chain has 85 outlets across the GCC and India. The group employees 15,000 people and its products are sold in 90 countries.
