Tahiliani came to the UAE in 1994 to join his family businesses that was founded in 1986, over the years he has grown the business from being a small mall Indian spices and pulses trading company, set up in Sharjah Industrial Area UAE, to a multinational company with a supply chain covering the Far East, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and Australia. In March 2020, Hamriyah Free Zone Authority announced that Arab India Spices would build 12 silos worth $40 million at the Sharjah Food Park. The project will increase the company’s investments in the U.A.E. from $95 million to $136 million. Arab India Spices has provided repatriation tickets and over 10,000 food parcels to residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also sold its products at a 50% discount.
