Bharat Bhatia

Bhatia founded Conares in 1988. The company initially focused on steel trading, but later set up manufacturing facilities in the U.A.E., which are today spread across 1.5 million square feet and have the capacity to manufacture more than a million megatonnes of steel rebars, pipes, and color-coated coils per year. Its steel has been used in several projects in the U.A.E., including Etihad Rail and Expo 2020. Bhatia has also business interests in the F&B and real estate sectors.
