Hatem Dowidar

Dowidar joined Etisalat in 2015 as group chief operating officer and was leading the company’s international operations before becoming Group CEO in 2020. Today he leads a global workforce of more than 46,000 people. Etisalat is one of the world’s largest telecom operators with a brand portfolio valued at $10. 9 billion and a presence in 16 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Africa. In January 2020, Etisalat Digital partnered with American Hospital to launch telehealth services. The company’s aggregate subscriber base reached 154 million in 2020, representing a year over year increase of 3.6% with revenues of $14.1 billion.
