Al Balushi joined Ominvest in 2014 and has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry. Ominvest is among the largest diversified groups in Oman with assets worth $7 billion in 2020. Under Al Balushi’s leadership, Omnivest merged with ONIC Holding in 2015, creating the largest publicly-listed investment company in Oman. In 2020, Ominvest completed a merger transaction between the Oman Arab Bank and the Alizz Islamic Bank.
