Airport International Group has managed Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), Jordan’s main airport, since 2007. The airport welcomed more than 4.5 million passengers in 2021, after receiving the highest annual figure in its history – 8.9 million passengers – in 2019. QAIA’s total contribution to Jordan’s GDP reached $3.5 billion in 2019. Before becoming CEO in 2020, Claude was the COO of Airport International Group for five years and the CEO of Santiago airport in Chile. In 2018, QAIA became the first carbon-neutral airport in the Middle East.
