In October 2022, it doubled its fleet to eight Airbus A321neo aircraft. In August 2022, Wizz Air announced its largest inbound market expansion with the launch of 20 routes from Europe to Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, offering over a million ultra-low-fare seats.
