Newman has 35 years of experience leading organizations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. In April 2023, NEOM Hotel Development and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced their plans for a new luxury resort on Sindalah Island. In March 2023, Marriott International also announced it has signed an agreement with NEOM to open three properties on Sindalah, which are expected to be open in 2024. Newman previously worked with Emaar Hospitality Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Le Méridien.
