Cabannes joined SPIMACO in 2022 as COO and has been acting CEO since October 2023. He officially assumed the role of CEO in February 2024. SPIMACO manufactures pharmaceuticals and operates in 16 countries. The company produces generics in 60 therapeutic categories, including oral solids, liquids, creams, injectables, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and high potency medications & biosimilars. In 2023, the company’s production volume increased by 35%. It also launched eight new products in specialized therapeutic areas, including the first locally manufactured biosimilar Endosa. In H1 2024, the company reported revenues of $226.4 million and made a net profit of $19.73 million.
