Al-Sulaiti has been leading Nakilat since 2013, having first joined the company in February 2011. The company has a fleet of 69 liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers and reported $292 million in revenues in Q1 2022. In October 2021, Nakilat and Karpowership signed an MoU to collaborate in the LNG-to-power market and jointly own and operate a fleet of floating storage regasification units. Nakilat also took delivery of the newly built LNG carrier “Global Sea Spirit” in 2021, which will be managed by its subsidiary, Nakilat Shipping Qatar Limited. Before joining Nakilat, Al Sulaiti was a shipping manager at Qatargas from 2006 to 2011.
