Founded in 1957, Bukhamseen Group Holding Company’s portfolio includes real estate, construction, insurance, finance, banking, hospitality, travel, tourism, industrial productions, oil & gas, media and communication, and consultancies for urban planning and civil engineering on both regional and international levels. The group employs more than 15,000 people. Bukhamseen co-established the Kuwait Real Estate Bank in 1973, which was converted to an Islamic bank in 2007 and is now known as Kuwait International Bank. The bank reported total assets of $11 billion and a net profit of over $22.5 million in the first nine months of 2023
