In February 2023, Abu Dhabi-based food and beverage company Agthia Group launched a new 100% rPET bottle for Al Ain Water. rPET supports recycling, saves energy, diverts plastics from landfills, generates 75% fewer CO2 emissions, and has a better ecological balance than glass and single-use aluminum cans. In May 2022, the group approved a $24.5 million greenfield investment in Saudi Arabia to construct a manufacturing facility for Nabil Foods, Agthia’s protein brand.
