Al Ali founded Rami Al Ali Couture in Dubai in 2001, after graduating from the College of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1995. He got his breakthrough in 2009 when he was invited to attend the Altaroma, Rome’s fashion week, and showcased his Spring-Summer Couture collection on the official couture week calendar. In January 2012, he made his debut at the Couture Fashion Week in Paris. Since then, he has worked with Spanish architect Carmelo Zappulla for the Design and Crafts Program MENASA at Expo 2020 Dubai. He also collaborated with Charles & Keith, RoyalJet, Bulgari, and Cartier, and has had clients such as Beyoncé, Chanel Iman, Eva Longoria, Kelly Rowland, Carrie Underwood, and Naomi Campbell.
