Al-Essa assumed his current role in 2018. NREC operates in Kuwait, the U.A.E., Egypt, Jordan, and Libya. The group’s projects include Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi, which was officially opened in May 2024, Grand Heights in Egypt, Palm City Residences in Libya, and South Aqaba Investment Park in Jordan. NREC recorded $56.8 million in revenues in the first nine months of 2024, and it had $1.8 billion in assets as of September 2024. Al-Essa is also a board member at Agility.
