Abou Samra assumed his current position in 2021. In 2024, the RAFAL Real Estate Development Company launched five transit-oriented developments in Riyadh in conjunction with the launch of the Riyadh Metro. It also introduced Saudi Arabia’s first co-living brand, with 1,200 built-to-rent rooms in the pipeline, delivered 204 villas at the Al Nayfah Residential Project, and launched a 3,600-unit project under NHC’s Al-Khuzam Masterplan. In June 2024, it announced a strategic partnership with HIVE to launch HIVE Riyadh, a 200-key residential building. Abou Samra is also a founding board member of DAR ALINMA and previously worked at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
