Amer joined SODIC in 2010 and assumed his current role in February 2023. SODIC is 85.5% owned by Aldar-ADQ Consortium. In 2024, the group recorded $193.7 million in revenues and $1.1 billion in assets. Its gross contracted sales reached $994 million, marking a 66% increase from 2023. In 2024, the company signed strategic partnerships with Nobu Hospitality and Marriott International, introducing luxury hotels, restaurants, and residences across Cairo and the North Coast. As of February 2025, SODIC’s portfolio included 14,500 completed units and 6,835 units under construction.
