Al Abdouli has been in his current role since 2018. In 2024, he spearheaded the launch of RAK Central, which will feature 3 million square feet of rentable office space, over 4,000 residential units, three hotels, and the launch of RAK Central HQ. Marjan has attracted investments from Aldar, Emaar, DAMAC, Dubai Investments, DarGlobal, and Wynn Resorts. The company’s flagship masterplan project, Al Marjan Island, comprises 2.7 square kilometers of reclaimed land, 15,000 planned hotel keys, 7.8 kilometers of beaches, 12,000 planned residential units, 23 kilometers of waterfront, and 450 holiday homes. Al Abdouli also serves on the boards of RAK Ceramics and RAK Properties.
