Abdallah Sallam has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has been at the helm of Madinet Masr since 2021. Madinet Masr was founded in 1959 as a government institution. In March 2023, the company rebranded from Madinet Nasr for Housing & Development to Madinet Masr. It had completed 6,852 units at a total value of $497 million, with 5,195 under construction at a total value of $711.9 million. In the first nine months of 2023, the company recorded total assets of $509.9 million and net revenues of $149.7 million and delivered 792 units, while its market cap amounted to $256.7 million as of November 15, 2023. Sallam also founded Minka Real Estate Investment, which was acquired by Madinet Masr in 2021.
