Chongphaisal assumed his current role in 2022. Today, he oversees GSK’s operations in the U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. In February 2024, the company signed an MoU with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health to accelerate innovative healthcare and integrate treatments and personalized care. In March 2024, it collaborated with the University of Sharjah to advance cancer research. Chongphaisal was previously the general manager of GSK within emerging markets for over 14 years.
