Ghata-Aura joined Boeing in 2010 and assumed his current role in 2021. He oversees over 750 people. Before joining the company, he was a founding partner of Eversheds in Abu Dhabi. In January 2023, Boeing supported Emirates Airlines in testing its first aircraft run on 100% sustainable aviation fuel in one engine. At COP27 in Cairo, Boeing launched its “STEM for Sustainability” program, which aims to equip students in Egypt, Morocco, and the U.A.E. with skills and knowledge on sustainability through STEM education.
