In December 2024, UDC and the Ruzgar Healthcare Group announced the opening of The Pearl International Hospital, a medical facility located at The Pearl Island, spanning 14,000 square meters. In 2024, the company had total assets of $5.1 billion and revenues of $283.5 million. Its market value was $1 billion as of March 2025. Al-Jaidah was previously the CEO of Qatar Cool.
