Al-Dhaheri has been in his current position since 2020. In June 2024, the company signed an MoU with Bayanat to develop a smart mobility infrastructure project in AlJurf, aiming to build a wellness-focused island with autonomous vehicles. In February 2025, IMKAN announced a partnership with Klickl, a U.A.E.-based Web3 financial platform to enable cryptocurrency payments on property purchases. Al-Dhaheri is also a board member of the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club. He was previously the CEO of the Musanada Abu Dhabi General Services Company.
