Lujaina and Areej joined MHD in 1994. Founded in 1974, the group operates through two clusters: MHD-ACERE and MHD-ITICS. MHD-ACERE offers products and services across automotive, construction equipment, and renewable energy. MHD-ITICS specializes in infrastructure, building systems, technology and communications, industrial, office automation, healthcare, energy and conservation, investments, and consumer solutions. Areej was appointed as an honorary member of the Arab Entrepreneurs Board in December 2024. Lujaina is also the chairperson of the Oman Women’s Football Committee and a board member of the Omani Football Association.
