Alwahaibi assumed her current position in July 2023. In October 2024, Siemens Energy announced the extension of its collaboration with ENGIE Middle East to maintain the V94.2 fleet in Oman and the SGT5-2000E fleet in Bahrain, covering the supply of parts and services. Alwahaibi was previously the general manager of Air Products Middle East in Oman. She previously held roles at the Oman Institute for Oil and Gas (instOG) and Abraj Energy Services.
