Kandil assumed her current role in 2022, having been the sub-governor at the Central Bank of Egypt for 17 years. She also sits on the board of TAQA Arabia. She was previously a board member at Al-Ahly Capital’s microfinancing network, Tamkeen, as well as the KAYAN Group.
