Ibrahim joined the Nahdet Misr Publishing House in 1994 and assumed her current role in 2011. In June 2024, the group’s investment arm, EdVentures and the Mastercard Foundation joined a five-year partnership to launch the EdTech Fellowship in Egypt, providing $60,000 of equity-free funding each to 36 startups. In November 2024, Ibrahim was appointed to join Egypt’s Ministerial Committee for Entrepreneurship and the Leadership Committee of Egypt's National Council for Women. She also sits on the boards of Endeavor Egypt, the Women Entrepreneurs Network, Tiye Angels, INJAZ Egypt, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science Business Incubator, and Education for Employment – Egypt, among others.
