Al Moayyed assumed her current role in 2023. Al Baraka Islamic Bank is a subsidiary of Al Baraka Group. In September 2024, AIB signed a partnership agreement with Bahrain Airport Company to offer benefits and rewards to the bank’s customers who will hold the World Elite Mastercard credit card. Al Moayyed previously held executive roles at Citibank, and the Ahli United Bank, and was the CEO of Bahrain’s Eskan Bank for 10 years. She is also an advisor at Aion Digital, and a board member at L’azurde in Saudi Arabia, Investcorp, and Flat6Labs Bahrain.
