Arif joined Microsoft as surface business group director for the Middle East and Africa in 2019 at Microsoft in Dubai and assumed her current role in 2020. She has led AI initiatives across Egypt in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. She is also the co-chair of the Digital Transformation Committee at the AmCham Egypt, and sits on boards of the Egypt Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunication, the National Council for Women, and Banque Misr among others.
