Tinubu-Karch has been in her current role at Sidra Medicine since November 2022 having been a non-executive board member since 2019. She is also the founder and CEO of 6M Geriatrics and Hospital Medicine. In June 2024, Sidra Medicine, a member of the Qatar Foundation, implemented clinical-grade Whole Genome Sequencing, reducing diagnostic times for critically ill pediatric patients. In October 2024, it concluded its first successful clinical trial on patients with congenital hyperinsulinism. It also extended its Lifesaving Gene Therapy Program to older children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy syndrome. In November 2024, Sidra Medicine launched Qatar’s first cord blood bank.
