Berro has been with Roche since 2003 and assumed her current role in 2019. In May 2024, Roche and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi signed MoUs to enhance innovation, health services, and treatment available to patients. The company reported sales growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by 5% in the first nine months of 2024 to reach $4.3 billion. Berro is also a member of the company’s Middle East Inclusion & Diversity Council, the Executive Committee of the PhRMA Middle East & Africa, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, and the board of the Healthcare Committee of the International Women.
