Tazi joined Sothema in 1997 and assumed her current position in 2019. In the first nine months of 2024, Sothema recorded $203.7 million in revenues. In November 2024, the company opened a new $20 million storage facility equipped with the latest technologies. In June 2024, the company partnered with the Foundation for Research, Development, and Innovation in Science and Engineering to offer scholarships to PhD students from low-income families. Tazi is also a board member of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises, vice president of the Moroccan Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industry and Innovation, and president of Axess Pharma and West Africa Pharma.
