Akhannouch founded AKSAL Holding in 2004, building on a history that began in 1994 with the launch of Espacia, a small distribution business. The group operates in retail, developments, malls, digital, luxury, and cosmetics. It has franchise agreements with international names in luxury retail brands, including Fendi, Gucci, Off-White, and Balenciaga. Its malls division is behind Morocco Mall. It also encompasses the AKSAL Foundation and the AKSAL Academy.
