Al-Suhaimi was appointed chairperson of the Saudi Tadawul Group in 2017. The group’s subsidiaries include the Saudi Exchange, the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), the Securities Depository Center (Edaa), and the Tadawul Advanced Solutions Company (WAMID). The group had $2.5 billion in total assets as of Q3 2024. Its profits increased by 68% in the first nine months of 2024 compared to 2023 to reach $133.6 million. Al-Suhaimi is also the chair for Lazard Financial Advisory in MENA, and a board member of the stc Group and the Saudi Arabian Airlines Public Agency. She was previously the CEO of SNB Capital from 2014 until 2021.
