YEN has been operating since 2018 and was officially registered as an NGO in late 2023, connecting stakeholders within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. GYPN empowers and connects young professionals. Zalat’s responsibilities include shaping the strategic direction and overseeing the operations of both organizations. YEN has over 160 members while GYPN has more than 450 members across its active hubs in the U.S., Egypt, and South Korea. YEN’s activities have been funded by USAID while GYPN receives funding from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Egypt. Zalat has accumulated over 1,200 hours of social business consultation.
