Elyan won a silver medal in the women's up to 67kg category at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. She also achieved fourth place in the women's 61kg category at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Elyan attained second place in the women's 61kg category at the 2023 World Championships in Dubai and fourth place in 2021 in Tbilisi. She ranked second in the official World Para Powerlifting Rankings 2024 by the IPC in the women’s up to 67kg category.
