Empower serves over 1,550 buildings and has 87 district cooling plants. In October 2024, Empower achieved a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest district cooling project in Dubai’s Business Bay, with an ultimate cooling capacity of 451,540 refrigeration tons. The project consists of nine plants, four of which are currently operational. In September 2024, Empower concluded its ‘Set and Save at 24°C,’ annual summer campaign, which aims to optimize consumption.
