Boueri joined Olympus MEA in January 2022 and was appointed to his current role in 2022. In the same year, he secured a tender for the Egyptian UPA, the governmental purchasing arm of the Ministry of Health & Population in Egypt. Boueri previously served as general manager for the Middle East at Zimmer Biomet.
