Al Mannai joined QIC Group in 2001 and assumed his current role as group CEO in 2020. With operations in 11 countries, the group’s revenues amounted to $2 billion in 2023. It reported a net profit of $169 million in 2023, after recording a net loss of $325 million in 2022. Al Mannai also serves as the chairman of the MENA Insurtech Association, and he helped to launch Qatar’s Third Financial Sector Strategy with the Qatar Central Bank in 2023, which aims to transform Qatar into an innovative hub and an international center for financial services.
