Al Baqali became CEO of Alba in February 2020, having joined the company in 1998 as a purchasing officer. In May 2024, Alba delivered a robotic unit for educational and training purposes at the Nasser Vocational Training Center in Bahrain. In the same month, the company launched EternAl, a low-carbon aluminum line with 30% and 15% recycled products. Al Baqali is also the board chair of the International Aluminium Institute. He was previously deputy CEO and chief supply chain officer for the company.
