Al-Dhaheri was appointed to his current position in 2020. IMKAN Properties is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Capital Group. It has over 26 projects spanning over 30 million square meters. The company operates in Abu Dhabi, Egypt, Morocco, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka. In 2022, IMKAN Properties announced the launch of phase two of the 3.8 million square meters AlJurf Gardens and opened Sheikha Fatima Park, which spans 46,000 square meters. In August 2023, it launched the second phase of Kayan, a residential community, which is expected to be completed in Q1 2026. Al-Dhaheri was previously the CEO of Musanada Abu Dhabi General Services Company. He is also a board member of the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club.
