Ead has been involved in the popularization of science and educational content after launching his YouTube channel Egychology in 2014, amassing over 1.2 million subscribers and 38.3 million views as of October 2023. The channel took a break for over a year but is set to return in autumn 2023. Since 2021, Ead has also partnered with Kerning Cultures to launch the Superbly Scientific Podcast, which secured the #1 spot on Apple during its first and second seasons. The assistant teaching professor is also one of the youngest members of the University of Alberta’s teaching staff.
