AlFadley has been in his current role since January 2015, working with the government to implement Saudi Arabia’s long-term sustainability goals by prioritizing knowledge exchange on global water issues, creating a lucrative investment environment, and emphasizing how transforming food systems in the kingdom has contributed to an increase in agricultural investments. Besides his ministerial position, AlFadley is also chairman of the board of the General Food Security Authority, the Saudi Irrigation Organization, the Agricultural Development Fund, the National Center for Meteorology, the Saudi Wildlife Authority, the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, and the National Water Company.
