Red Sea Global’s portfolio includes two main destinations: The Red Sea and Amaala. Both aim to achieve a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040 through the protection and enhancement of key habitats crucial to biodiversity. Both will also run with 100% renewable energy, all of which will be generated by solar power and one of the largest battery storage facilities in the world to guarantee supply at night-time. In July 2023, Red Sea Global opened its first mangrove nursery to support the delivery of RSG’s aim to plant 50 million mangrove trees by 2030. In August 2023, it partnered with Zain KSA to launch the world’s first zero-carbon 5G network at the Six Senses Southern Dunes resort at The Red Sea.
