El Dabag joined Barclays in 2014 and assumed his current role in 2021. He has 27 years of industry experience and heads a team of 170 people. Barclays has been in the Middle East for more than 150 years. Since 2022, Barclays has grown its business across all divisions, serving sovereign wealth fund clients, government-related entities, banks, large corporates, and family offices. El Dabag is also an advisory board member for the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
