Van der Loo has been working at Pfizer since 1997 and assumed his current role in September 2022. He leads a team of 2,200 people and is also a non-executive board director of Pfizer Export BV. The company is expecting to launch more than 55 products in 2023. In March 2023, Pfizer partnered with the Dubai Academic Health Corporation and AXDEV Global to enhance care for patients with chronic illnesses.
