Sam’an cofounded CoinMENA in 2019, a regulated digital asset exchange licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain, as well as in the EU and the U.A.E. It allows investors to buy and sell digital assets across Bahrain, the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman. The platform secured $9.5 million in seed funding in 2021. Sam’an previously worked for her family’s real estate business before spending four years at BitOasis as a Regional Client Operations Director.
